About Me.

I have been in private practice working with individuals and couples since 2018 and love what I do! I hold a Master in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC - LH61127251).  In addition to my private practice, I worked for two years as a counselor at a local community college largely serving low income, minority, and international students through a social justice counseling model.  Prior to becoming a therapist, I enjoyed a multifaceted career including work in international development, public health, education, and outdoor adventure guiding.

I am a Level One trained therapist in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) founded by Stan Tatkin and have pursued additional training in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) with Dan Siegel, Object Relations, Attachment, and Complex Integration of Multiple Brain Systems (CIMBS).  I am also a member of the North West Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study.

Across all of these endeavors I have worked with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, trauma, family conflict, questions around meaning, purpose, and identity, major life transitions, and cultural oppression.  I have a special interest in working with individuals and couples impacted by relational trauma in all its forms, as well as individuals and couples with ADHD.  I particularly enjoy working with double ADHD couples, where both partners have or suspect they have ADHD.

In addition to my private practice, I am also the cofounder of The Whole Athlete, a project aimed at providing holistic mental health resources to athletes and those that support them.  You can find out more details about this project at TheWholeAthleteProject.com.

On a lighter note.

I love spending time outdoors whether that’s in my garden, by the sea, or in the mountains.  I love exploring new places and cultures and travel often.  I love to laugh and strive not to take myself or life too seriously!
