About Me.

CHRISTY SWEANEY HERRICK, MA, LMHC

I have been in private practice working with individuals and couples since 2018 and love what I do!  In addition to my private practice, I worked for two years as a counselor at a local community college largely serving low income, minority, and international students through a social justice counseling model.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I lived many different lives including working in international development, public health, education, and outdoor adventure guiding.

Across all of these endeavors I have worked with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, trauma, family conflict, questions around meaning, purpose, and identity, major life transitions, and cultural oppression.  I particularly enjoy working with people navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and identity shifts.
